Between Behind the Scenes 22.5 (30 September 2010)

Dear community,

This is sort of an in-beween-the-Scenes – so we’ll call it 22 and a half. And its sole purpose is to say “thanks and hava -java” to community member stephen.fenech. Stephen was nominated for his recent active participation on the Forum, particularly for the work and discussions that resulted in the contribution of a Mule connector.  Congratulations to our September BonitaSoft mug winner!

We’ll be awarding another mug at the end of October. Want to nominate a fellow community member to receive one? Leave a comment here or email us.

Babili gives our large multicultural and multilingual community the ability to translate the user interfaces of our tools into their own languages, making Bonita better adapt to local needs! Read the rest of this entry »

Translations for Bonita Studio, User Experience, and connectors are climbing too. This is quite an amazing result of this active international community.

The compiler automatically replaces all the internationalized strings with their localized value. This produces a version of every script per supported locale.
Similarly, GWT produces web-browser-specific script versions of the module during compilation, i.e., one version per supported web browser. Read the rest of this entry »

Tip of the week : 3- Move variables and connectors

- Do I put it local or global?
- That’s a local I’m telling you
-Okay, okay

-Allright.. sorry, it should be a global, but don’t worry you can promote it

Most of the time designing business processes requires to adapt your draw and data definition to new incoming needs. This is why in Bonita Open Solution we’ve created some little features Read the rest of this entry »
